I found myself with some downtime recently and so I got the bright idea to play some games that didn't work for me at first, put another way, I went back to some games I "bounced off" of. Hyper Light Drifter, Prey (2017) and Hollow Knight are all games that I respect but couldn't break my way into for some pretty arbitrary reasons and so I thought I would see if these challenges could be overcome. Revisiting each of these games was interesting and provided some new angles for how to consider the way I enjoy things in the past, present and future...
