Hi Everyone sorry for being so quiet lately , I am back now and thought I would make this Roasted Pork Belly especially because I Love Crispy Pork Skin, and served with a recipe for a delicious cabbage which I added my own take on it as Cabbage can be a little bland , anyway Ip hope you enjoy watching this video please don’t forget to like , share and subscribe, Take Care All and have a brilliant week ahead. Ingredients Pork Belly 1 Chopped Onions 4 Baby Peppers 2 Slices of smoked Bacon (optional) Cabbage Seasoning Method If Possible Salt the Belly Pork Skin and fridgerate overnight or 2 hours before roasting Lay the Belly Pork Skin side down and make cuts into the pork belly meat and season Turn over the Belly pork and remove any salt on the top then patting dry with paper towel Then make holes into the skin using something very pointed and sharp Then again dry off any moisture with paper towel Place the Belly pork onto kitchen foil and fold around the belly Pork making sure only the skin is showing. Place on a preheated oven 220c for 20 minutes until it starts to crisp up Turn down the temperature to 160c and roast for a further 1 hour depending the size of the Belly Pork check the pork is cooked through and tender Remove from heat and allow to rest. Slice the Cabbage into thin strips soak in water until ready to boil, drain off water Add the cabbage to a pot and season boil until soft Chop 1 onion and baby peppers In a frying pan add 1 Tablespoons of oil Add the chopped onions and peppers gently fry until softened Cut the bacon into small pieces Add the chopped bacon and gently fry until cooked Add the cooked cabbage and mix well with the onions and peppers Gently fry until ready to serve Cut the crispy belly pork into pieces Serve with the cabbage and Roast Potatoes #roastedbellypork #bellyporkrecipe #crispybellypork #crspybellypork. #roastpork #andrewssimplecooking
