Montreux, Switzerland. Day trip from Geneva. Train ride to Rochers-De-Naye. Christmas market. Santa

We travelled to Montreux from Geneva via SBB train. The journey was just over an hour . When we reached the station , we transferred to a different platform to cath the cogwheel train to Rochers-De-Naye. We used the SBB app to purchase train tickets. The journey to the summit of Rochers was quite spectacular. It took 55 minutes with several stops but it was totally worth it. At the summit, we walked around to various view points to appreciate the landscape. We took the 2nd to the last train back to Montreux. I would imagine the last train would be packed. It was late afternoon when we got back to Montreux. We had a meal first and then we headed to the Christmas market. It was a brilliant atmosphere with flying Santa as the highlight. We returned back to Geneva full of lovely memories of Montreux.
