The conversion stage is finally over and it's time to set out and hit the open road. Better late than never hey! This epsiode we pack our life into our van which is much more difficult than it might seem! We have plenty of space, however weight was our nemesis after a trip to a weighbridge just before setting off. After finally packing up and saying our farewells to our parents, we head across the country to the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley to find our very first park-up for our first proper night away in our campervan! Apprehension was high but quickly faded as we drove along some meandering forest lanes before stopping at our first overnight stop. Join us again next time as we work our way up towards Scotland (and hopefully the snow!) ––––––––– About Us ––––––––––– We're Alex & Ayesha (AKA MountainAdvantures) and together we've built an off grid camper van to tour Europe and maybe further afield! With little DIY experience we managed to convert our trusty van "Wilson" into our own little tiny home on wheels ready for a van life journey. The build is over but the vanlife adventures are just beginning as we head to some remote, snowy areas throughout the UK and Europe. We enjoy skiing, ice climbing, mountaineering, rock climbing and walking to name a few so there are plenty of adventures on the horizon.
