Ever wonder what it’s like to work for a wire service? Watch our session with reporter-editor Brittany Hobson, who works with The Canadian Press in Winnipeg! Brittany is an Ojibway and Scottish reporter born and raised in the city. She is a member of Long Plain First Nation in Treaty One territory through her mother. Prior to working with CP, she was a broadcast reporter with APTN National News for nearly five years. Brittany has experience reporting on child welfare issues, missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, and the courts. This workshop is part of our #GrowingIndigenousStorytellersFellowship training series, which is open to journalists and everyone interested in learning more about the industry.
