🎥 SERMON TITLE: The Knowledge of God Makes the Difference 👤 Preacher: Pastor Olu Akinsola-Olowa 📍 Ministry: Word of God Church International (WOGCI) 📅 Date: 08 February 2026 📖 Scripture References: Daniel 11:32; Mark 10:46–52; 1 Timothy 4:8; Romans 8:11; John 6:63; Proverbs 4:20–22; Luke 5:17–26; Numbers 13; Numbers 14:4–9; Luke 1:45; Daniel 10:1–5; Proverbs 16:7; Genesis 22:1–18; Hebrews 11:17; Joshua 1:8 In this powerful and revelational sermon, Pastor Olu Akinsola-Olowa teaches that the knowledge of God is what separates the ordinary from the extraordinary, the powerless from the empowered, and the stagnant/ spectators from those who do exploits for God. What separates the “Haves” and the “Have Nots” in life is knowledge. From the streets of Makoko to the mansions of Banana Island, it is knowledge that determines outcomes. Pastor Olu shared that the knowledge of God brings miracles, empowers exploits, and positions a believer to experience glory. Daniel 11:32 says: “Those who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits.” Knowing God means understanding who He is, His promises, and what He can do — and acting on that knowledge. When you truly know God, your faith is based not just on hope, but on **knowledge-based confidence**. Mark 10:46–52 tells the story of Blind Bartimaeus. Among the multitude, he cried out, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” What made Bartimaeus unstoppable was *knowledge* — he knew the significance of the name he called. While others tried to silence him, he cried out louder. Jesus responded because Bartimaeus had revelation knowledge that others lacked. The lesson: **the name you call Jesus matters**. Knowledge of God allows you to approach Him in ways that bring supernatural response. Faith without knowledge is limited, but knowledge empowers faith to act boldly. Pastor Olu emphasized that spiritual knowledge surpasses even physical diligence. For example, while exercise is good for the body, spiritual discipline rooted in knowledge is far more profitable (1 Timothy 4:8). Romans 8:11 and John 6:63 affirm that the Spirit and the Word bring life to our flesh. Proverbs 4:20–22 confirms that God’s Word brings health and healing. Those who act on uncommon knowledge do uncommon things. Luke 5:17–26 shows the friends of the paralytic taking bold action because of what they knew about Jesus. God cannot resist requests backed by knowledge. Numbers 13–14 recounts how Joshua and Caleb stood firm at the edge of the Promised Land. While others feared and spread bad reports, Joshua and Caleb acted on **knowledge of God’s promises**. Their confidence did not come from absence of opposition, but from **knowing who God is and what He can do**. The question is not whether God can fulfill His promises; it is whether He delights in us. When God delights in a person, nothing is impossible (Luke 1:45). Knowledge of God positions believers to stand boldly, speak confidently, and access God’s promises. The story of Abraham in Genesis 22 illustrates faith rooted in knowledge. Abraham reasoned that the same God who gave him Isaac could also raise him from the dead (Hebrews 11:17). This is faith based on the **knowledge of God’s character, power, and promises**. Joshua 1:8 reinforces the importance of meditation on God’s Word. Continual study equips believers with information from Scripture that allows them to make conclusions, exercise faith, and act with divine insight. Drawing from Daniel 11:32, Pastor Olu explains that strength, boldness, miracles, and exploits flow from knowing God, not merely knowing about Him. Knowledge is what separates the “haves” from the “have-nots” in life — from the streets of Makoko to the mansions of Banana Island. Through the story of Blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46–52), we learn that revelation knowledge gives believers spiritual boldness. Bartimaeus called Jesus by a name that revealed understanding, and that knowledge provoked a supernatural response. Faith without knowledge is weak, but knowledge-based faith is unstoppable. From Joshua and Caleb’s confidence in God’s promise, to Abraham’s faith in Genesis 22, this sermon shows that those who act on uncommon knowledge experience uncommon results. Meditation on God’s Word (Joshua 1:8) equips believers to think, speak, and act with divine confidence. 🔥 Key Truths from this Message: Knowledge produces exploits and miracles Knowledge empowers bold faith and action Knowledge protects against fear and pressure Knowledge-based faith is the strongest form of faith 📺 If this sermon blessed you, subscribe to the channel and turn on the notification bell so you never miss a life-transforming message by Pastor Olu Akinsola-Olowa. #TheKnowledgeOfGod #PastorOluAkinsolaOlowa #WOGCI #WordOfGodChurchInternational #ChristianTeaching #FaithAndKnowledge #SpiritualGrowth #BibleTeaching
