BRITISH RAILWAYS IN THE 1990's Various Short Visited Locations from 1992 Volume 03 Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of locations that I visited where not a lot of video footage was attained. Taken during the last few months of 1992 we start off this volume with a visit to Cambridge for a brief stop, Winchfield in Hampshire is next to witness 37154+33114 passing through with DC Tours WOE Coalpower special from London Waterloo - Exeter and return. Gainsborough Lea Road is the next location just catching a glimpse of the normal everyday activity. I then take you to Hinksey North for a look at the passing Cross Country and Freight with 47s and 37.Sleaford station next for a quick look at the old signalling with the modernisation of 2nd Gen DMUs. I captured at Whitemoor Jn in March Pathfinder's tour "Anglian Odyssey" coming out of Whitemoor on her circuitous route back to Bristol via Wisbech' top "n" tail with D5583 (31165) leading and 31191 at the rear, this was indeed a lucky capture as I had no knowledge of the tour just like the next location of Loughborough on the mainline "The Minster Marauder" again a Pathfinder Tour from (Eastleigh) and Bristol with a pair of class 50s 50007 + 50033. Micheldever is our last port of call in this movie seeing Freight and passenger trains so In this last video for 1992 there hopefully is enough variety for all tastes and soon we will be viewing the start of yet another year from the archive.1993. I hope this video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
