Life is full of failures, and they can occur in different forms. Whether in your attitude, behavior, work, relationships, or school, failure can totally disrupt you. However, it is important to know that failure is not the end. You must learn from it and move forward. For Maxine specifically, she dealt with failure in her relationships, jobs, and attitude. In her speech, Maxine takes you through the process of how she noticed that her negative outlook was holding her back from her potential; she believed she was failing in life, failing her parents, and failing herself. Maxine knew she had to learn from her struggles and change herself for the better. Through this journey, she has learned valuable lessons and steps to help others when dealing with failure. Learning and improving from your experiences is crucial. Utilize the steps Maxine will teach you, and fail forward to your success. Maxine Cruz is 17 year old, and lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. Maxine is passionate about living life to its fullest and enjoying every moment. She loves meeting new people and hearing different stories about their lives. Her goal for each day is to try and maintain a positive outlook, seeing the best in people and the world around her.
