A Real Super Sport? 1965 Malibu Junkyard Find. Could this be the real deal? Well the #138vin and data plate say it is. Unfortunately its the end of the line for ine the first true muscle car of the 1960s. This one had a pretty rough life and looked to have been off thr road for decades. Plenty of rust throughout but a #truesupersportchevelle is deserving of a restoration. The interior was missing a bucket seat the back bottom seat and most of the center console. Too bad it didnt come with the tach option. It was however optioned with factory air conditioning. But alas this one will meet its end with the frame being removed and sold. The body will be going out the yard flat. One less real SS Chevelle will exist. The 12 bolt rear is long gone and who knows what will happen to the 327 small block, assuming its the original engine.
