Why it's totally ok to be Queer & Christian: A university professor weighs in with 25 reasons.

Out of the videos that I've made, this one might be the most controversial to some, but it might be the one that does the most good for some folks out there. I hope that there's at least one person out there who is helped by video. I promise that my desire to be helpful with this video is very earnest. I mean that very sincerely. Please know that my perspective on this topic is very humble. I did hours and hours of research for this video, and I promise that I was starting from a scholarly, respectful perspective. I realize that I'm wading into a debate that has severed relationships and broken hearts. We'll probably be reconciling ourselves with the consequences of this debate for generations. I'm not a theological scholar, and I don't have authority or vested interest in this topic. I just wanted to weigh in on it because I didn't find that this topic was addressed with the same breadth of reasons by other youtubers, and I felt like I had at least a few arguments to add. Also, perhaps my disinterest and lack of personal stakes on this issue helped me perhaps be a little more neutral. I hope that some of you can stay neutral about some of the evidence that I'm offering. I hope that those who have been hurt by this debate will heal. I hope that nothing I've said sounds disrespectful or minimizes the tremendous suffering that constitutes the real face of this issue. I know that I can often over-intellectualize topics that are emotionally complex. I really want you to all know that I was very circumspect about publishing this video.
