Kufa's Urban Art - Greater Region

Launched in 2014 by the Kulturfabrik, Kufa’s Urban Art, a project both pedagogical and artistic in nature, has met with great success and rapidly spread across the border. The initiators decided to pursue the adventure, widen their horizon and go for the long haul: firmly establish urban art in the Greater Region. This year’s edition will be the biggest so far: three months of action, dozens of artists, hundreds of participants in training activities, 10 cities, 4 countries (Luxembourg, Germany, France, and Belgium), and many hours of work and play. The program for 2017 will feature conferences, seminaries, film projections as well as interdisciplinary, intergenerational and inclusive workshops. There will be encounters with artists and, to close the festivities, a big open-air festival.
