4/12/23 At 12:01:02 the Outdoor Warning Sirens in the town of Waynoka sounded for a daily blast on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023, the blast consisted of about a 15 second Attack. Then, at 12:07:25 the town of Waynoka conducted a weekly test of their Outdoor Warning Sirens, the test consisted of about a 2 Minute and 45 second Attack. Waynoka is pronounced “Wuh-noh-kuh” not “Way-noh-kuh” just clarifying that since most people say it wrong This was interesting….. I had been told that the sirens here go off at noon everyday but I didn’t believe it cause that’s not what the town hall had told me before. So when it did the first 2 Attack cycles I thought that was the test, when in reality that was the noon blast.
