Autism at Kingwood

Autism at Kingwood is a charity which provides person-centred support to 140 adults with autism and Asperger Syndrome across the Thames Valley. We deliver highly specialised teams who deliver supported living to people living in their own homes and outreach to people who are able to live independently, but who need a little bit of extra help. We are committed to helping people we support to live as independently as they choose and make their own choices about the lives they want to lead. We do what we can to enable people to access community activities. Our horticultural project and organised events throughout the year provide additional opportunities for the people we support. Autism at Kingwood also employs a small psychology and support team, which provide a service for people with high-functioning autism and Asperger Syndrome. The team also deliver the Oxfordshire Adult Autism Diagnosis Service, as well as a support and advisory service for people with high-functioning and Asperger Syndrome. We are proud of our 300 dedicated employees, who support the charity in many ways.
