Torremolinos has commenced its Christmas season last 29th of November with the official lighting of the Christmas lights, by the singer Pasión Vega, who was this year's Christmas star. A large number of days and activities are coming that will turn the town into a great Christmas stage. Children will be able to visit Santa Claus in his village, which this year is located in the Plaza Pablo Ruiz Picasso from November 29 to December 24. The Christmas Market (Mercado Navideño) located at Avenida Palma de Mallorca consists of six stalls selling crafts and Christmas products is open from the 29th of November 2024 to the 1st of January 2025. Torremolinos will once again have a Crochet Christmas tree made by the Torremolinos Crochet Association, to be inaugurated on December 4th at 6:00pm in Plaza Blas Infante. The opening of the Municipal Nativity Scene will also take place on December 4th at 6:30pm on the ground floor of the Town Hall. It can be visited until January 5th from 9:00am to 1:00pm and from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The Solidarity Toy Run, organised by the Komando Amimoto Association, will be held on December 14th. The charity biker route through Torremolinos to collect toys will start at 12:00 from the Plaza Blas Infante and will go through several points of the municipality until reaching the same place, where attendees will be able to enjoy live music. On the 15th, the Príncipe de Asturias Municipal Auditorium will host a Christmas concert for the whole family by the Málaga Symphony Orchestra. Attendees will enjoy music from film and television series soundtracks. Admission is free by invitation, which can be purchased at the Culture Department, the Casa de la Cultura and the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Centre. The Christmas Park will open its doors from December 20 to January 5, this year, as a novelty, in the gardens of the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center. The little ones will be able to enjoy attractions and different workshops and theaters. The third Roscón de Reyes Route will be held from December 21 to January 5 in local bakeries and pastry shops. The Molino de Inca Botanical Garden will host a Living Nativity Scene on December 21, from 4:00pm to 6:30pm During this same activity, there will be a hot chocolate party to benefit those affected by Dana. Young people will also be able to enjoy Christmas with the ‘Speed ​​Talks’ workshop, a ‘Shushi Workshop’ and another ‘Photography Workshop’.
