I decided to build three computers in a row; a Tech Marathon. Today marks the start of a full PC‑building marathon — three motherboards, three platforms, one continuous workflow. No breaks, no shortcuts, just pure hardware testing and validation. I began with the Machinist MR9SS + Xeon E5‑2698 v3, mounting CPU, NVMe storage, ECC memory, and wiring everything with my front‑panel test kit. I paired it with a Thermalright 360mm AIO to confirm stability, and the system powered on flawlessly. Next, I moved straight into the ASUS ROG STRIX B550‑F WiFi II + Ryzen 7 5700X. Same method, but this time I used an original AMD stock cooler for a faster test cycle before swapping to another Thermalright 360mm AIO later in the build. Finally, I tackled the MSI MPG Z790 CARBON WiFi + Intel i7‑12700K, installing DDR5 memory and testing it with a Thermalright 360mm Pro AIO with LCD display. After 12 hours of nonstop building and testing, this is where I paused the marathon. This video documents Phase 1 of the series. Tomorrow, the marathon continues as I move into full assembly, cooling setups, cable management, and final validation for all three systems.
