For years Julie has wanted me to go to Door County Wisconsin. This last August we spent four nights in Ephraim and really enjoyed the picturesque setting of the towns and the amazing food. Of course, we ventured out on our bicycles for some fun adventures. Washington Island is one of the "must-do" items when visiting Door County. We really enjoyed bicycling around the island and it is definitely the way to enjoy and see this beautiful place. The riding is easy and relaxed. You could extend our ride a bit by adding more of the roads on the north side of the island which would make it about 30+ miles of bicycling. Definitely stay off the main roads and try the back roads.
