MOST RECOMMENDED Restaurant in Lucknow | ALAMGIR RESTAURANT | Lucknow Food Tour-4 This 50-year-old restaurant was the most recommended place by locals, when I was in Lucknow. Alamgir Restaurat is managed by Mujeeb Ahmad is known for his Mutton Bandgost, which was first cooked by his father. But, that’s not all. Alamgir offers a delectable Mutton Keema, Kaleji, Bheja Fry and Naharai. Their chicken dishes like the butter chicken – a unique dish with chicken pieces cooked in a rich white gravy. You can mop up these gravy items with a varierty of breads – roomali, sheermal, naan and mughlai paratha. What impressed us – Mutton Bandgost and Mutton Keema. Outstanding!
