That means there are No Showers there but there are toilets. There are not many powered sites So if you need one, get there early. If you don’t need power you can camp close to the waters edge, views of the wildlife and activity on the Condamine river. The toilets are cleaned regularly. There is water available but it is not suitable for drinking at this site but you can top up your tanks at the Visitor Information Centre in Chinchilla. Chinchilla Weir is free for a maximum of 2 nights but donations to help with the costs of providing the power and the upkeep of the camping area. There is some mobile phone service (depending on your carrier) and TV reception there. Plus its Pet friendly. There's a limit for staying here and it is 48 hours.
