If you’re a millennial women feeling friendship-starved — I see you 🫂 You’re not alone. And I say this with my full chest – as someone who has been there too and is guiding other women who feel this way – It’s not because you’re failing, but because the kind of connection you long for doesn’t always look pretty and presentable on IG. That kind of connection isn’t always convenient or easy in a world that celebrates you being constantly busy and productive and a “boss babe” caring for everyone else. But the good news is – the tide is shifting. It’s time we give voice and space and place for women to acknowledge how they feel about friendship If this named something you haven’t had words for — 📥Save it to come back to on the days you wonder if it’s just you. ✈️Share it if you’ve noticed the trend too, and you want to change the narrative. And this might feel brave and daring – but I’d really love to know in the comments: What are your thoughts on how we got here? How are you nurturing real, genuine community in your life right now? We don’t have to reinvent the wheel alone — and we certainly don’t have to make it perfect. We’re here to walk each other home – and the ideas you have for cultivating community just might give someone else the courage to do the same. PS This clip is from Episode 1 of Season 2 of the Sink & Swim Podcast (out now!), a Notes from a Fart Walk episode — where I share what’s happening behind the scenes in my own inner world and what’s unfolding in real time.
