“Stella by Starlight” was composed by Victor Young in 1944 for the film The Uninvited, and quickly became one of the most harmonically rich and beloved standards in the jazz repertoire. Over the decades, it has been interpreted by legends such as Miles Davis, Bill Evans, and Stan Getz. In this electric jazz fusion version, Alessandro Bertozzi offers a bold reinterpretation, infusing modern energy and 90s textures into the timeless ballad. This performance is part of the Electric Jam Session project — a creative exploration of jazz standards with a contemporary edge.
