A nice early start at 0345 to be down at the Rainbow on the lake inn car park for the start of a 150km roadbook that would lead us around the Salisbury plain area. The morning briefing raised the subject of slippery chalk and deep puddles... well this video might as well be nothing other than splashes, it is safe to say the brief was accurate and some of the "puddles" tested the wading depth of some bikes. I had not rode the bike since the South West Super 8 (look for my last uploads) so I started out riding pretty cautious, even by the end off the day I wouldn't say i was sending it, the chalk is like riding on ice some times but it does make it a fun day out.
