Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies Balanced, Chewy & Not Overly Sweet Makes 18 bakery-style cookies Ingredients Wet 225 g unsalted butter, softened 170 g brown sugar 55 g granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract Dry 315 g all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt Add-ins 110 g white chocolate 120–140 g dried cranberries Zest of 1 orange (optional but highly recommended) For sweetness control If your cranberries are sweetened: • Put cranberries in a bowl • Cover with hot water + squeeze of lemon • Rest 10 minutes • Drain & pat dry → This removes surface sugar and brings back tartness. Instructions Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line tray with parchment. Cream butter and sugars for 2–3 minutes until light. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla and orange zest. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt separately. Add to wet mixture and mix just until combined. Fold in white chocolate and cranberries. Chill dough 45 minutes. Portion 58–60 g per cookie. Place 2.5 inches apart. Bake 11–12 minutes or until edges are set. Internal temperature: 172–174°F for perfectly chewy centers.
