The Classic at Damien Platinum Division Quarter-finals '26 Stanford commit Elias Obenyah led his Salesian Pride into a quarter-final clash against Crespi and the Barnes brothers. It was Salesian who jumped out to a quick lead turning defense into offense and getting easy transition buckets. Crespi would calm down and tie the game 15-15 at the end of the 1st quarter. Crespi pushed their lead to 7 at the half 37-30 behind a steady dose of Jasiah Williams and Carter Barnes. The Celts led by as much as 10 with 4:32 left in the 3rd quarter. Obenyah who scored a game high 34 points helped lead Salesian back into the game closing the gap to only 2 points 62-60. Thats as close as they would get as Carter Barnes nailed a corner 3 to extend the lead back to 5 points. Barnes finished with a team high 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists. Crespi put the game on ice at the free throw line for a 70-67 win as they continue to impress with two big wins over top 50 California teams.
