Not long after this, I bought an AmPro II Strat, and by comparison, the Jazzmaster is a little more noisy. Just something to consider…it’s just the nature of the larger single coil pickup design. Something else I discovered after making this video is the problem with the spring in the trem system…If you play 9s, it’s ok, but if you play anything heavier, it has to be replaced. It made a HUGE difference when I went from a no-name to a Gibson...well...years ago I bought a used MIM Fender Telecaster...and I loved it! But my friend wanted to buy it back because it was his first guitar. So while this might not be my "FIRST" Fender, it's my FIRST AMERICAN FENDER, and my FIRST JAZZMASTER...and...wow!
