In the latest episode of Laplink Connections, Laplink Software CEO Thomas Koll talked with Stephanie Hallford, Vice President & General Manager of Business Client Platforms at @intelbusiness about the pace of technology innovation, the need for more computing power, the new work-from-anywhere hybrid work environment, and her advice for young managers who want to pursue a rewarding career in technology. “The role of technology is more important than ever,” says Stephanie. “Having agile partners like @LaplinkSoftware has been very helpful as we want to combine smart hardware with smart software.” In addition, Stephanie talked about how Laplink and Intel are working together to make the security, manageability and performance of Intel vPro® Essentials more accessible to small and mid-sized businesses when combined with Laplink® Everywhere™. Stephanie L. Hallford is Vice President in the Client Computing Group and General Manager of Business Client Platforms (BCP) at Intel Corporation. She is responsible for Intel’s B to B Client Product Group and its related revenue, sales, marketing and engineering. This includes ownership of the Intel vPro® platform (Intel’s enterprise-grade “built for business” product line across desktop and mobile platforms). An accomplished tech executive, Hallford has more than two decades of global experience spanning business operations, sales, marketing, product management and communications. She has spent the bulk of her career in Asia, including multiple leadership roles in China and Hong Kong. Before relocating to the United States to assume her current role in 2018, Hallford led marketing and business operations for Intel’s Client Computing Group in China. Prior to moving back to Beijing in 2004, Hallford led the global campaign strategy to launch Intel® Centrino® mobile technology – a game changer in wireless mobility. Hallford holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and humanities from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
