These videos are a personal biography through my eyes & what I see every day, the love for my family & the beauty of this county. All I ever wanted was for everyone to have a chance to see the Harlan County that we are proud of and that we love so much. At least just for a short time I truly enjoyed making videos. I wanted so much to film more of Harlan County, I guess it's just not meant to be : ( Once again it breaks my heart my videos are being blocked.. I'm so sorry... Hi everybody, Wonderful Thank You to Corinne for helping me find a way and a Big Thank You to Joel and Tammy Forester and the Tucker Guthrie Memorial Airport, Harlan County KY. I truly apologize for the camera moving so much, it was very difficult for me to hold it steady. So here is some footage on the day we finally was able to fly : ) Oh it was sooo awesome!!! These mountains are so beautiful : ) We enjoyed it so much!!!! Hey if you're ever looking for someone to fly you around Harlan, be sure to ask Joel Forester, he's great... Thank You : ) well after taking off, I still can't believe I actually got into a airplane, lol..... Joel took us over Watts Creek, you'll see Knobby or Knotty Rock, out from it is Slick Rock and of course Camp Blanton. Next Highway 119 heading to Wallins then you can see a little of the City of Wallins. Next Tremont, then the Tucker Guthrie Memorial Airport of Harlan County Kentucky. Next Baxter, then to the City of Harlan, and The Harlan City High School : ) then leading to the ARH Hospital then you'll see the Cawood Elementary : ) Next Highway 421, then you'll see Rosspoint Elementary : ) Then our New Harlan County High School, boy these kids are so lucky : ) as you can see they are still working on the Football and Baseball fields, but hopefully they will be finished soon : ) Then back down Highway 421, you'll see the turn into the Pine Mountain Road. Next down to Baxter, then the City of Loyall. Then the beautiful Martins Fork Lake, then Grays Knob, back down the City of Harlan and then coming in for a landing. I'm so sorry we wasn't able to film many other beautiful places, such as the rest of Wallins, Four Mile, Pine Mountain, Evarts, Mary Alice, Cumberland, Black Mountain and many other gorgeous places, but with the Lords will we hope to film the beautiful colors of Autumn.
