Roadtrip Revival - 1972 Dodge W100 Power Wagon Rescued From A Field After 20 Years (Plus Toy Trains)

I know, I know, it's got a '78 grille. But I promise you this is a 1972 model Dodge W-series Power Wagon. It's also an incredible truck because of the way it was put together. Obviously it's got the best grille, but it also has a warmed over version of arguably the best engine that was available (the venerable LA 318, of course,) the beefiest transmission available, the best transfer case, the best step side bed, and countless other good things. It's also black, which has long been a favorite for tin grilles around here. The only problems as I see them are 1) the cab is rotting off, and 2) it was towed into this sloped field twenty years ago, which is currently a horrible muddy nightmare due to recent excessive rainfall. There's just no way I can get my trailer up there, so... I guess we're going to have to drive it out. Let's dig in and get dirty.
