GROUND BRANCH (21.02.2026) Lone Wolf, Ranch: 50 Trained Terrorists Hey Hey Hey from Krusty :-D Last time I made the map "Creek" with 50 trained terrorists. Just wanted to try one last map, and make a FPS/Temp Test with the GTX 1060 6GB card, before switching to the new RTX 5060 TI card. Because I were thinking, that since maps are different, some maps could potential require a bit more or less, depending on the size of the map. Plus the quality/size of it's textures. Forgot BTW to turn MSI on. Hope you have the patience with my recent FPS tests. And think this could be potentially be the last one of those with the older GTX 1060 6GB card. Once the newer card are installed, I still need to make some FPS tests with that, in order to compare those two cards. But sure it's going to be awesome. Many card-generations I'm going to jump. Googled the release date for those two cards: The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB was officially released on July 19, 2016 The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti is scheduled for release on April 16, 2025 Close to a 10 year jump... Mainly going to ramp video quality settings up. Aiming to get at least 60 FPS instead of around now 50 FPS. If more, then of cause better. My monitor are just capable of HD (1920x1080) resolution. But able to show 360 FPS. So there should be enough of headroom, if the improvement are insane :-D But I'm cautiously optimistic. Don't want to set my hopes too high. But sure it's going to good. Stay tuned :-) Even thou very difficult game....especially when it's at "Trained" mode, and with 50 terrorists. It very fun to give yourself that extra challenge. And accordingly a rewarding feeling, when you succeed the high bar, that you set for yourself. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Paine (1737-1809) - American Founding Father, French Revolutionary, inventor, political philosopher, and statesman: "The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph" or to show his full quote are here: “The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress and grow.” - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - George Washington (1732-1799) - 1st President of the United States: "The harder the conflict, the greater the triumph" I could see that George Washington's quote are almost identical to Thomas Paine's words. And digging deeper, it were also Thomas Paine's quote in a pamphlet, that George Washington use to boost his men/soldiers morale. Google: George Washington did not use Thomas Paine's quote directly, but he had Paine’s words read aloud to his troops during a critical moment in the Revolutionary War. On Christmas Eve, 1776, Washington ordered the first essay of The American Crisis—which includes the famous line “These are the times that try men’s souls”—to be read to his weary soldiers before the Crossing of the Delaware and the Battle of Trenton. This act was a deliberate effort to boost morale and inspire perseverance during one of the Revolution’s darkest periods. The quote “Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph” was central to that message, reminding soldiers that their struggle would make victory more meaningful. While Washington did not deliver the quote himself, he used Paine’s words as a rallying cry, proving their profound impact on the American cause. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Pelé (Edson Arantes do Nascimento) (1940-2022) - One of the best footballer in the world: "The more difficult the victory, the greater the happiness in winning." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Les Brown (1945- ) - Motivational speaker: "The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - So it looks like, it were Thomas Paine that were the O.G. of the famous quote about struggle and getting yourself through a crisis. And boosting yourself or others morale or courage. Other just change his words a bit. Thanks for watching. Regards from Krusty :-) BTW Had housefire earlier in 2023, and lost everything. It's a while ago now, but my economy still not that great after that fire. Buying all those both basic items, but also some few items above basic like eg. TV and stereo etc again.
