A prominent figure in both national and international governance, he is a member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India and serves on the Economic Advisory Panel to the President of the World Bank. His extensive scholarship includes authoring three books on urban economics and development, two on monetary policy, and editing three major volumes on the Indian economy, most notably the landmark work India Transformed: 25 Years of Economic Reforms. Ketaki Karnik works at the intersection of technology, business, and society, and is currently with nasscom, the apex body for India’s technology industry. Her books, Secrets for Thriving in the Gig Zone and The Generative Artificial Intelligence Tsunami, explore the impact of evolving work models on organizations and careers. She is also an award-winning fiction writer. Santosh Desai is an author, columnist, and brand strategist. He is best known for his insightful books on Indian culture, including Mother Pious Lady and Memes for Mummyji.
