This model slides easily in and out of its plastic sheath, and will serve you well if you prefer a "ready for action" fixed-blade over a pocket knife folder. It's finger hole is also comfortable and helps support a firm grip. The blade stock is full tang and a whopping 4mm thick for many years of strength and stability. You slide your belt through the belt loop on this model, as it is closed-off with a 4-post design. We made it this way, so that there is no way you can lose or accidentally have the sheath fall off of your belt. When mounting the sheath horizontally on your belt, the knife handle sits a slight 10-15 degree angle for easier deployment (see photos).
