Rediscover the lost creative world of Don Blanding, author/illustrator of "Vagabond's House" (1928), a best-selling volume in the popular poetry genre. He was also something of an American aesthete, a decadent in the 1890s tradition, and a progenitor of exotica/tiki culture. This short documentary by Brian Chidester and John Winer is an attempt by the filmmakers to tell Blanding's story using only found footage, found audio, and archival image sources. Copyrights for any of this content remains with the original estate, archive, collector, or creator of said footage. The documentary is produced by Full Moon Films, LLC, all rights reserved.
