From local dried fish to international markets, Sunny Fish Enterprise is proving how compliance and innovation drive growth. With support from the CAPFISH‑Capture: Post-harvest Fisheries Development project, the company upgraded its facilities, achieved Cambodia Quality Seal (CQS) certification, and adopted the CamTrace digital traceability system. These steps strengthened food safety, built customer confidence, and opened doors to new buyers. Today, Sunny Fish Enterprise proudly exports fishery products to Australia and is preparing to expand into EU markets, while continuing to support local fishers and processors through stronger value chain linkages. Sunny Fish’s journey shows how Cambodian enterprises can transform tradition into opportunity, bringing safe, high‑quality products to global tables. The project is funded by the European Union (EU) and jointly implemented by the Fisheries Administration (FiA) and UNIDO.
