Hey there! My name is Aubrey and I'm a happy homemaker to my wonderful husband and our 7 kids. This year I decided to start making all of our bread products at home, which has been such a fun and educational experience. And now, I'm learning how to mill fresh flour and bake whole wheat loaves. Join me for a full day in the kitchen making yogurt, bread, and more. Why a I even venturing into milling our own wheat? Well, I'm glad you asked :) First of all, wheat berries have a very long shelf life and are great for prepper pantries. Second, fresh milled flour contains so many nutrients that you otherwise wouldn't be getting in modernized flour from the store that has been stripped, bleached, and enriched. I'm so excited to bake this bread and have the satisfactory knowing that my family is getting the nourishing nutrients found in theses grains.
