[S2. Ep.13] No gas in Ecuador and where is Chimborazo?

From the water-filled crater lake Quilotoa, we continued our ride - chasing big landscapes and even bigger mountains. Our next destination was Chimborazo, the farthest point from Earth’s center. Along the way, we were once again on the hunt for something very basic: butane for cooking. Once again, Ecuador reminded us that this is apparently a rare and highly exclusive item. So we rode on. When we reached our destination for the night, Chimborazo decided to stay hidden — wrapped tightly in clouds, unimpressed by our efforts. Disappointing, yes… but also part of the deal when you’re chasing mountains. The next morning made up for everything. The clouds lifted, and Chimborazo revealed itself in full glory.
