Lacock's Abbey, which belongs to the people of Britain through the National Trust, is one of the most beautiful in the country. L/S of the archway as a group of people enters the Abbey grounds. Inventor of photography, William Henry Fox Talbot, who was born in Lacock and carried his research here, first immortalised the Abbey with his new invention.
