DON’T COME EMPTY-HANDED Exodus 34:20b – “None shall appear before Me empty-handed.” Philippians 4:18–19 – “…I have received the things sent from you… And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Proverbs 11:24–25 – “There is one who scatters, yet increases more… The generous soul will be made rich.” A true sign of consecration and salvation is a giving heart. Giving reflects commitment to God. Paul even teaches that failing to provide for one’s family is worse than an unbeliever—showing that responsibility and generosity matter deeply in the Christian life. Three Types of Givers 1. True Givers – They give because they understand that God expects and honors generosity. 2. Hoarders – They withhold out of greed or self-centeredness. 3. Parasites – They only receive and never contribute. No matter your situation, you always have something to give. Giving is not just money—it includes your time, service, encouragement, and sharing Jesus. No one is too poor to give. Wherever you go, ask: What can I give here? Contribution attracts response. What’s in Your Hands Speaks It reveals what you love and value. It speaks on your behalf. It provokes a response—either increase or lack. God’s principle is clear: Don’t come empty-handed. A giving heart activates divine supply, increase, and favor.
