!PLEASE READ BEFORE WATCHING! I didn’t think I would have to address this again, a whole 6 years after my stroke, but apparently there are still some lingering rumours about what actually happened the night of my stroke. Obviously I set the record straight by telling my story in this video. My stroke was not caused by drugs, it was caused by a dissection of my Carotid Artery which then formed a blood clot and stopped blood flow from going to my brain, which is what an ischemic stroke is. I had multiple blood and urine tests that were all cleared with nothing abnormal detected to rule out drugs and alcohol as per hospital protocol. Unfortunately this didn’t change the way that I was treated that night in the hospital and I was not treated appropriately for a stroke despite the very noticeable symptoms that I was showing. I’m not sure what the reason is for spreading horrible rumours about me, but those are serious accusations that I don’t want to be associated with, so PLEASE stop wrongly accusing me of causing my stroke with drugs, because it is FAR from the truth. I had a secret goal from before I even posted my first Youtube video in August to reach 100 Subscribers by October 29th (World Stroke Day) and upload my Stroke Story video, and you guys did not let me down! I wasn't sure how realistic that goal was considering I only had I think 18 Subscribers from all 5 years that I've had this Youtube channel, but I thought if I posted videos consistently then I would have a chance at reaching my goal! I didn't mention this in the video because I just wanted to focus solely on this story, but my next Subscriber goal is 1000 Subscribers, where I'll be telling the story that I talked a little bit about in my Birthday video "My Mexico Trip from Hell". It's another wild one and I'll also be giving a bunch of tips for travelling alone as someone who is of a more vulnerable population (female and disabled).
