Our Ultrasonic Flow Meter range has been tested and calibrated at an ISO 17025 laboratory, meeting accuracies of +/- 0.5% of the true flow rate. Using non-invasive technology, our transit time flow meters have significant advantages against an inline flow meter by reducing installation cost, risk and downtime for your flow rate measurements. The Permaflow® is our fixed, wall-mounted ultrasonic clamp on flowmeter for non-invasive measurement of liquids. It operates on a transit time principle capable of measuring flow rates of liquids containing less than 10% solids. It measures volumetric flow rates (such as l/h), mass flow rates (such as kg/h) and energy flow rates (such as kWh or BTU) The Permaflow® has a modular input / output feature, allowing you to select only the input / output communication modules you require - keeping cost effective. USB is installed by default and various communication modules are available as additional options such as MODBUS, 4 - 20 mA etc. The Permaflow® also allows PT100 thermometers to be connected to the device for continuous temperature monitoring and compensation, via the option PT100 input module. This is useful for heat metering and for measuring energy consumption of chilled water applications - units are displayed in BTU or kWh.
