NIXER - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW

We have been following NIXER for a while and after missing them at Dot to Dot Nottingham in May 22 when we found out they were supporting @theclockworks at Bodega Nottingham it was time to finally see them live and they did not disappoint. We caught up with Seán Keenan AKA Nixer at soundcheck who greeted us like an old friend and asked 'have you got any copper'...not money and actual peice of copper to fix his 'special torch'. He shone a bright light into the waiting crowd with the roars of 'I need a bit of space and time' as he proceeded to jump off stage and get the crowd into a frenzy. We then understood what a very 'Special' torch it was and what a special band Nixer really are. Enter into the 'Church of Nixer' where synths, banging beats and Keenan's unique vocal delivery and electric live show reign supreme. After their debut EP 'People Feel', and subsequently brilliant singles 'Second Hand', 'Irish Dancer' and 'Pleasure'' and fresh off a tour with The Clockworks we expect to worship Nixer for in 2024 and beyond.
