A conversation with Dr. Marjorie Woollacott at the 2024 IANDS conference. We explore terminal lucidity - a surge of energy at the end of life that is often marked with mystical awareness, visions of your welcoming party, the next world, or angelic beings. Dr. Woollacott is an Emeritus Professor of Human Physiology, and a member of the Institute of Neuroscience, at the University of Oregon. She is head of research for the International Association for Near-Death Studies (‪@IANDSvideos‬ ) and was also a research professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Umea in Umea, Sweden, and in the National Center for Scientific Research in Marseille, France.
