Razzle Dazzle Your Way To A Diy Jelly Bath Bomb!

DIY JELLY BATH BOMB - Razzle Dazzle Raspberry Jelly!!! Jelly bombs are exactly how they sound. The bomb creates JELLY! I LOVE squeezing it in my hands & letting it ooze out of my fingers! So much fun, kids will LOVE them, too! This project is super easy, quick, & FUN!!! RECIPE: 2 cups baking soda, 1 cup citric acid, 1/2 cup sodium alginate, 1/3 cup calcium lactate + 20 milliliters fragrance oil, 20 milliliters polysorbate 80, 10 milliliters cocamidopropyl betaine, 10 milliliters avocado oil. You can use any mold you want to experience this amazing jelly bath bomb (berry mold isn’t necessary). I got the berry mold (on Etsy) bc it made the most sense for a jelly bomb… You know like blackberry jelly, or in this case, "razzle dazzle raspberry". Plus, it was really cute! INGREDIENTS: Use sodium alginate to make the jelly. I researched a lot for this recipe, & calcium lactate is supposed to aid in the jelly-making, but it isn’t 100% necessary. The project will still work without it! Use which ever carrier oil that you want. * I NEVER use oil in my bomb recipes to avoid greasy bath water... But the bombs, water, or my skin were not greasy at all! MOLDING: I had no issues with the regular sized bombs, but, when I made the bigger ones (with extra thick sides), the 2 sides wouldn’t stay together. I had to shrink wrap the bomb so that the 2 halves would dry & fuse together overnight. BIGGER BERRY BOMBS: If you mold a bigger berry, with thick sides, it’s the same process just make sure to go up & down a lot (like how I moved the mold up & down in the tutorial, to loosen the mold from the big mold that holds the 2 together) so the exposed sides get packed & trimmed down (& come out nice & flat). *** & NOTE: You’ll probably have to shrink-wrap this bomb! RESULTS: I really enjoyed this bath bomb. I found the foam very entertaining.
