Today, I’ll show you how to cut and stitch a beautiful baby girl ruffled romper, just like the one in the image. Stay tuned for an easy step-by-step tutorial. Materials Needed • Cotton or denim fabric • Measuring tape & scissors • Sewing machine & thread • Buttons & elastic (if needed) Cutting the Pattern • First, take measurements for the chest, waist, and length. • Cut two front bodice pieces with a V-neck and one back piece. • Cut three ruffled layers in increasing widths for a stylish look. • Cut the shorts part: two front and two back pieces. • Cut a fabric strip for the waist belt. Stitching the Bodice • Join the front and back bodice at the shoulders. • Sew the front button placket and finish the neckline and armholes. Adding Ruffles • Gather each ruffle layer and attach it evenly to the bodice. • Ensure proper spacing for a neat and fluffy look. Sewing the Shorts • Join the front and back shorts pieces at the sides. • Sew the crotch area and hem the bottom edges. Joining Bodice & Shorts • Attach the bodice and shorts together at the waist. • Stitch belt loops and prepare the fabric belt for a cute bow. Final Touches • Sew buttons on the front panel. • Give a final press for a clean and professional finish. Final Look & Outro And that’s it! A stylish and adorable baby girl romper is ready.
