0:00 4 blades 3:32 2 blades 6:00 The motor running without the blades This is a fan that was found in a trash. I didn't find any of the mounting brackets and only one out of four light globes was original and intact, the other one was not original and two others seemed to have broke. So I used that intact original globe and borrowed a mounting bracket from a Westinghouse Industrial (yes they use ball and socket unlike most industrial ceiling fans). It is dated February 1990, and it seems like it's a clone of Encon Princess. However one evidence that it's a Litex Starlite is a model number (SL-42). RPM estimation with 4 blades: 50/141/203 RPM estimation with 2 blades: 72/171/236 It has a very slight wobble, hums, and blows a little amount of air, and it seems like the bearings are bad since even without the blades, the speeds make obvious differences (it has a 16 pole motor so maximum RPM should be 450 on 60hz, but even on high it's less than 400 RPM, more like 365, and if fan motor spins without blades three speeds usually make almost no difference, and at near maximum RPM). This fan is shown on all three speeds with four blades as well as two blades, and I also showed the motor running without the blades to show the motor/bearing condition.
