I got to try out this small, carbon fiber travel tripod, and I"m impressed. Weighs only about 2.6 lbs (1.2 kg) but is sturdy enough to handle my Bronica S2A and Pentax 6x7. It has a unique head design that's sort of based off of video tripods that use a bowl mount for easy leveling. But if that head isn't your cup of tea, you can use the INCLUDED flat base adapter to mount your own favorite heaad. This thing is small, too - 17" (43cm) when folded - so it's a perfect size to fit in luggage. But the 5-section carbon fiber legs will extend to 52" (1.3m), or 62" (1.6m) if you extend the removable center column. All in all this is a great little travel / backpacking / hiking / adventure tripod. But I can see myself using this on a daily basis, as well.
