So, I needed to choose another wad to showcase for it. Looking through my huge library of wads and narrowing down with several criteria: -Full 36 map ultimate doom format wad -Does NOT already have its own soundtrack replacement of any kind -Visually interesting enough to warrant a showcase -Texturally similar enough to not stray too far from the environment the tracks were intended for This eventually brought me to Deathless. I honestly thought there would be more contendors... but there really wasn't. Ultimate Doom megawads that are worth playing are just not all that common. Anyways, I think Deathless was a pretty good choice here and it does fit all my criteria. The only exception, is the E1M10 track, which didn't have a replacement in this wad and I just used the shitty Xbox Doom map that it was made for... Which I couldn't take a better shot of if I tried, that map is truly awful beyond belief. Like it would look out of place in the Master Levels its that bad. I think this is an excellent midi pack. It does a great job of bringing new excitement into maps I've played 100's of times, or just refreshing the vibe of a new but familiar experience. These midis are reused all over the place elsewhere in the community and for good reason. Ran out of description room... Pls checked pinned comment.
