When Norwegian Airlines approached us to help find their sonic identity we knew we’d been presented with a unique music challenge. As one of the world’s fastest growing brands, with businesses across aviation, rewards, banking, holidays, and cargo, their audio branding strategy had to unite the multifarious aspects of the brand and create a consistent brand sound across several different consumer touchpoints. Through researching Norwegian’s history, its values and goals, and weeks spent in the studio translating our findings into sound, we came up with a sonic signature, Northern Colours. We brought this theme to life, recording an extended brand track with the Trondheim Solistene and Embla to create a global sound truly originating from Norway, which has been heard by Norwegian's customers ever since.
