Peachtree Lift is a three-person fixed-grip chairlift located at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The lift runs from the base area up to the top of the Augusta trail. The chairlift serves beginner terrain at the bottom of the mountain, serving as the resort's learn-to-ski chairlift. From the top of the lift, skiers and riders may access the base area for access to upper mountain lifts. The chairlift was manufactured by Skytrac and installed at the resort in 2021, replacing a 1971 Heron-Poma double chairlift of the same name. Crested Butte Mountain Resort is a ski area located in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. The resort is located just northeast of the town of Crested Butte, a 40-minute drive north of Gunnison, and a 4-hour drive west of the Front Range cities of Denver and Colorado Springs. The resort is centered on the north side of Crested Butte Mountain and is known for its vast collection of extreme expert terrain, including hike-to terrain off the summit of the mountain and Rambo, the steepest tree-cut run in North America. In addition to its well-known expert terrain, Crested Butte also features a variety of terrain for all ability levels, the resort's frontside, which features advanced terrain on the upper half of the mountain and an extensive beginner area lower on the mountain, and the resort's backside, which features a large collection of intermediate terrain. The resort is owned by Vail Resorts, which purchased the mountain in 2018 from Triple Peaks, along with the company's other properties: Mount Sunapee in New Hampshire and Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont. Crested Butte is included on Vail's Epic Pass, with unlimited access and no blackouts on both the full and local passes.
