Precision Medicine In RA: What Can Your Joint Tissues Reveal, And Can It Guide Treatment? | HSS

One of the big research areas in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is focused on precision medicine. This area of research looks at whether doctors can predict which medication a specific patient will respond to, so that they can quickly get their pain under control and curb disease progression. Now, research teams, including those at HSS, are looking to determine if the types of cells present in joint tissue can predict which medication will work for a patient. This talk will provide an overview of advances in precision medicine and current research being conducted at HSS and around the world.
