Here I turn a piece of tulip poplar I was given. I had 5 or pieces and I saved this one as it was going to be much more challenging. I turned some of the others into simple bowls but the grain was very boring. I assumed my odd piece would be a bit plain as well. Was I in for a surprise! I thought I might be just making more sawdust but when I started on the bottom I was amazed. Then I knew I needed to be careful to maintain the shape I was hoping I could create from this limb. Made from a tulip poplar tree and ended up looking like a tulip. What do you think does it resemble a tulip. Please Like and Subscribe and Share if you are inclined. All comments are welcome. As with all my videos this is meant for entertainment purposes only and are not meant to be instructions. There are other easier ways to turn an emerging bowl and I am just showing the way I did.
