Ep. 11 - Riding the COBDR Day 2 - Higher and Harder

Day 2 of our Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route ride takes us from Eagle to Buena Vista through some dramatic high passes and more difficult terrain. We had a lot of adventure this day with some surprisingly fun riding at the end. IN THE NEXT EPISODE (#12) -    • Ep 12 - High Plains Shifters - COBDR (ish)...   - Day 3 of our Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route ride finds us straying off the BDR in search of more unpaved territory to avoid riding on pavement. We eventually get back on it but the diversion takes us places I've not been before. The roads we used are documented for others to follow if you prefer maximizing your time in the dirt. Nothing was particularly challenging but the scenery was exhilarating in places, desolate open range in others. Bit of a sour note at the end of the day, but, things happen.
